Naidu's Comment Shows His Lack Of Culture Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu’s comment against former Chief Minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, describing the latter as “Adavi Pandi” (Wild boar) has evoked sharp reactions not only from YSR Congress party leaders, but also from YSR loyalists in the Congress party. Congress MP from Rajahmundry Vundavalli Arun Kumar, a staunch follower of YSR, warned Naidu against using such unparliamentary words. “Naidu should behave himself. In order to save his party, let him make criticize YSR or his government. But he should not use objectionable words like “Pandi” while talking about a great leader like YSR,” he said. Finance minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy said Naidu’s comments showed his lack of culture. “I was shocked to listen to such words from a person who ruled the state for nine years. He surely lacks basic culture and decent language while making political criticism,” the minister observed.
